HSTSE – Online Exam (For Direct Students)
- Exam Date for Class 1-5: 22nd May 2022
- Exam Date for Class 6-10: 15th May 2022
Recognition & Medals
Recognition is the best form of appreciation. Each participating student will get a certificate. The student who scores
95% or above will get a Scholar Certificate along with a Gold Medal
90% to 94.99% will get an Outstanding Performance Certificate along with a Silver Medal
80% to 89.99% will get a Distinguished Performance Certificate along with a Bronze Medal
60% to 79.99% will get a Participation Certificate
below 60% will get a digital Participation Certificate
Scholarship
The top 3 students from each class will be awarded
International Rank 1 – Scholarship of ₹1500/month for 12 months + Topper Shield
International Rank 2 – Scholarship of ₹1000/month for 12 months + First Runner Up Shield
International Rank 3 – Scholarship of ₹500/month for 12 months + Second Runner Up Shield
Thirty minutes video interview of 100 marks will be conducted for top 10 marks holders to decide the top 10 ranks.
Note:
A minimum of 60% marks in the HSTSE-Online examination is required to get a scholarship. If none of the students s cores 60% marks, then the scholarship will not be awarded to any student.
In case of any confusion, the decision of the Academic Council will be final & binding.
The student is not eligible to receive the scholarship for the same class again. For example, if a student is getting a scholarship for class 4(through Winter Online Exam), she/he will not be eligible for the Class 4 Summer online exam scholarship.
Note: Appearing in the next exam is a student’s choice. They can appear in the exam to evaluate their preparation, but they are not eligible for the top 10 Interviews or Scholarships.
Ranking Criteria
In case two or more students score the same number of marks, ranks will be determined based on the following criteria (weightage will be given from top to bottom):
Rule 3 – The student who will get more marks in Science will get a higher rank.
Rule 4 – Students who will get more marks in Mental & Logical Ability will get a higher rank.
Rule 5 – Students who will get more marks in English will get a higher rank.
Rule 6 – Time taken by a student in completing the exam paper. The student who has taken lesser time will get a higher rank.
Rule 7 – If two students get the same marks, the younger student will be given preference.
Thirty minutes video interview of 100 marks will be conducted for top 10 marks holders to decide the top 10 ranks.

Exam Date: 3rd February 2022
Certificates
Each participating student will get a certificate. The student who scores

Class Level Awards and Recognition (School-wise)
: If in a school, in a particular class, the number of students participating is 50 or more
The First Topper from that particular class will get a Cash Prize of ₹1500 + Gold Medal.
The Second Topper from that particular class will get a Cash Prize of ₹1000 + Silver Medal.
The Third Topper from that particular class will get a Cash Prize of ₹500 + Bronze Medal.
: If in a school, in a particular class, the number of students participating is between 25 and 49
The First Topper from that particular class will get a Cash Prize of ₹1500 + Gold Medal.
The Second Topper from that particular class will get Silver Medal (No Cash Prize).
The Third Topper from that particular class will get Bronze Medal (No Cash Prize).
: If in a school, in a particular class, the number of students participating is between 15 and 24
The First Topper from that particular class will get a Gold Medal (No Cash Prize)
The Second Topper from that particular class will get a Silver Medal (No Cash Prize)
The Third Topper from that particular class will get a Bronze Medal (No Cash Prize)
: If in a school, in a particular class, the number of students participating is between 5 and 14
The First Topper from that particular class will get a Gold Medal (No Cash Prize)
(No Medals will be given to the Second and Third Topper.)
School Level Awards and Scholarship
: If in a school, the total number of students participating, including all the classes, is 500 or more
First School Topper (combining all the classes) will get a scholarship of ₹1500 for 12 months + School Topper Shield
Second School Topper (combining all the classes) will get a scholarship of ₹1000 for 12 months + First Runner Up Shield
Third School Topper (combining all the classes) will get a scholarship of ₹500 for 12 months + Second Runner Up Shield
: If in a school, the total number of students participating, including all the classes, is between 325 & 499
First School Topper (combining all the classes) will get a scholarship of ₹1500 for 12 months + School Topper Shield
(No Scholarship will be given to the Second and Third Topper.)
Selection of School Topper
Rule 1 – The Student should get a minimum 60% marks in the HSTSE examination.
Rule 2 – The Student must be a Class Topper for the current HSTSE Exam.
Rule 3 – The Student must get the highest percentile in the current HSTSE exam among all the class toppers.
Rule 4 – The Student must get the highest percentile in the Scholars’ Section of the current HSTSE exam among all the class toppers.
Rule 5 – The Student must get the highest percentile in the Mathematics Section of the current HSTSE exam among all the class toppers.
Rule 6 – The Student must get the highest percentile in the Science Section of the current HSTSE exam among all the class toppers.
Rule 7 – The Student must get the highest percentile in the Mental & Logical Ability Section of the current HSTSE exam among all the class toppers.
Rule 8 – The Student must get the highest percentile in the English Section of the current HSTSE exam among all the class toppers.
In case of a tie based on the above criteria, the School recommendation (based on academic records) will be required.
International Scholarship
International Topper of each class will get a scholarship of ₹1800 per month for 12 months + International Topper Shield.
Note: Each winner will be entitled to one award only. The winner will be entitled to the higher level award only. Thirty minutes video interview of 100 marks will be conducted for top 10 marks holders to decide the top 10 ranks.
